I am interested in implementing appropriate water, sanitation, and hygiene interventions through collaborations with local stakeholders in developing regions. My research will be heavily interdisciplinary, integrating social sciences, international development, public & environmental health, engineering, and engaged learning. My current research involves preliminary assessments of water, sanitation, and hygiene behaviors in urban and semi-urban communities in Gabon and partnership building with key stakeholders. I am also interested in applying rigorous mixed-methods evaluations that take advantage of the benefits of experimental and quasi-experimental approaches based in economics and of ethnographic methods based in anthropology.
I like to see live music, play ultimate, rock climb, play guitar, brew beer, and eat delicious foods.
