Sustainability Assessment Principles
This course will cover the basic blocks of knowledge and skills that you will need to assess whether a certain product, process, technology, engineered system, or policy meets the triple bottom line of sustainability. To meet the triple bottom line of sustainability, the object of the sustainability assessment must reduce relevant and important environmental and/or social impact(s) without creating unintended impacts elsewhere or at a different time in future, must be financially viable, and must have potential for market success without offsetting environmental and social benefits from overuse as a result of the market success.
